Softrave has released LEL UDS Drums, a free VST instrument plug-in for Windows that features 140 samples of a vintage analog drum module called Lel UDS.
LEL UDS Drums features the possibility to filter the high frequencies of any bank and to mix sounds together to create any snare you want. The idea was to put all analog sounds together to save time for creativity and to have easy access the best selection of LEL sounds.
Softrave says that what really makes this instrument different from just samples is that you can tune individual analog drift for every snare. This makes snare line less mechanical and repetitive.
